Dining at The Old Inn on the Green is an extraordinary experience: fine wine, great food, attentive, knowledgeable service and the dining rooms illuminated only by candle light. Chef and Owner Peter Platt, along with his team, work to create innovative and memorable meals that are an event unto themselves. Currently, we are offering a $95 prix fixe menu with 5-6 choices per course every night we are open. The hours for dinner are Wednesday through Sunday 5:30pm to 9:00pm for both indoors and in a new screened outdoor Covered Patio. The wine list is graced with an array of thoughtfully selected estate bottled wines from France, California, Italy and around the world. In addition to candlelight, in the colder months there are wood burning fireplaces in each room. A copy of our current menu can be found on the home page of our website www.oldinn.com.     Everything about it was perfect. What a pleasant staff. Wow! 20/10 for service. Ron B. was our server- what a lovely man. The duck dish is one I’ll crave from far away. I’ll stop by again next time I come back home. Thank you so much for such a welcoming environment and excellent service and delicious food.

    Perfect day of relaxation. People watch on the porch and have a coffee and pastry from the lost lamb. Lunch in the tavern wasn't crowded. Nice and quiet. The waitress was excellent and the food was wonderful. There were 4 of us and we all had something different. All delicious. After a relaxing lunch we went back to the porch to people watch and have a coctail. Always Perfect.

    we enjoyed our meal here. a very generous piece of steak--which unfortunately had to be sent back initially (i had specifically asked for "very rare," and what i got was medium-to-well. i almost never send back food, but gray meat is not something i want to eat). nevertheless, the second try came back rare(ish), and the salad was quite good. (fortunately, they were gracious about the whole thing.) we were a bit surprised that the very tasty quinoa bowl was so small (like a side, rather than a main dish)--esply at the price. all that said, however, we enjoyed the meal (a beautiful setting!), and would go back again.
