I ate the best coq au vin I’ve ever had! The service was great, friendly and knowledgeable and there was a great Christmas atmosphere - not too noisy but full of cheer and happy diners .

We asked for a quietish table and were given one promptly without question. We thought this was a very good start and thereafter everything went very smoothly: helpful and friendly waitress, excellent service and all four of us were impressed with the delicious food.

Fantastic every time. We have become regulars at this point. Yes its expensive, but the dark, minimalist aesthetic and colourful and tasty food makes it worth it every time. Its possible to go for cheap, but also easy to get carried away! We will be back soon.

Really really good experience. Two shared the Sunday sirloin roast, another the fillet and I had the special sirloin. All very good- steak cooked as requested (rare/medium rare etc). Good bottle of Merlot for £26 or so. Big thumbs up !

Fabulous decor and great ambience with good food of typical high quality one associates with the Ivy. Attentive friendly service. Loved the Christmas decorations. How nice to find a good brasserie that is comfortable and not too noisy!
