This venue is eye wateringly expensive but worth every penny if you have a special occasion you are celebrating. The food is outstanding and servie is literally second to none.

Food fresh and delicious as always. We had the scallops and the sardines and both were excellent. Gorgeous setting on a beautiful sunny day .

This is a really special place. Not just the location, right on the water, nor just the warm welcome, nor the intriguing menu or the quick service, but the food which is really good. And that bread...!

Celebrated my wife’s birthday here! Overall ambiance was exellent. The food was amazing! The staff was wonderful! The f&b staff who attended to us was very professional and served us with a smile. The wild mushroom Tagliatelle was the best I’ve ever had. The Salmon was cooked to perfection too! The live band outside was a bonus. Such a lovely experience spending birthdays here. Did not disappoint at any thing we are satisfied just like last year but this year’s menu was far more better than the previous one. Portion was good. We found the mouth watering calamari in paignton that we had last year on the sister’s hotel next door so we are very happy.

Excellent tea. Plenty to eat, delicious delicately made smoked salmon, cucumber, and other sandwiches, cream tea included as well with good quality jam and lemon curd. Individual cakes, again delicious and tea made with tea leaves, not teabags. Only letdown was the service. The hotel is obviously short staffed and the very nice waitress was rushed off her feet. However we had plenty of time so it was not a problem for us.
