- JJoyceCincinnati / Dayton •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoBrought my daughter for her birthday. She ran extremely late and her meal order was not placed by the 9pm closing time, Yikes!! Vicari-Jackson bent over backwards to ensure she still received the best experience and food! Our server Meka was unmatched, and top tier. Lobster shooters were 10/10! All three entrees which included Coca Cola Brisket, shrimp lobster Bucatini, & chicken pear Gorgonzola pasta.. were All amazing. And our cocktails were on point. So glad to have a great dinning experience each time right here in Jackson TN! Don’t walk, Run!!More infoVicari-Jackson$$$$• American• Jackson•4.6

- FFaitheNashville •40 reviews5.0Dined on Mar 29, 2026General Quarters is the kind of place that reminds you why you go out to eat in the first place—not just for a meal, but for an experience that lingers long after the last bite. From the moment you sit down, there’s a warmth and ease that makes everything feel just right. The shrimp and grits are nothing short of exceptional. Perfectly cooked shrimp nestled into creamy, buttery grits that feel indulgent without being heavy. Every bite is balanced, rich, and deeply satisfying—comfort food elevated to something memorable. And then there’s the gumbo. Deep, soulful, and layered with flavor, it tastes like it’s been simmering with care for hours (because it probably has). The richness of the broth, the tender sausage and okra, and the subtle spice all come together in a way that feels authentic and generous. It’s the kind of dish you keep thinking about the next day. What really sets General Quarters apart, though, is the feeling that nothing is rushed and everything matters—from the food to the atmosphere to the people serving it. It’s a place that delivers not just on taste, but on heart. If you’re anywhere nearby, it’s absolutely worth seeking out this Mississippi gem.More infoGenerals Quarters$$$$• American• Corinth•4.8
