Showed to table and menu choices explained. Offered water, then wine order taken. My salmon rillete starter was nicely presented and nicely seasoned my wife's tomato and basil soup was hot and tasty. Our main course of Haddock was cooked just right, soft and flakey. Staff were very friendly and we were not rushed. A wonderful experience.

We had the lunch menu and the food was excellent. I had a brilliant crab on sourdough starter and a really outstanding roast pork dish. Service was attentive but also unobtrusive. The ambience was very pleasant, and my friend and I lingered over a most enjoyable lunch.

We went to the Parsonage grill for the first time for my husbands birthday and it was lovely from the moment we walked in. The Spanish Maitra’D (sorry i didn’t get his name) was so friendly and accommodating and made sure we had the best seats! Our waitress was lovely and chatty and we felt very looked after. The ambience was relaxed and the food was delicious. As a special treat they even bought us out some birthday dessert which really was a special touch! The only down side is it’s by a bit of a busy road but this didn’t ruin our enjoyment and we would definitely be back again!
