Food was fabulous and we would definitely go back. One curious ‘blip’ was that rice was temporarily unavailable so my friend was given noodles instead when her green curry was much more suited to rice to absorb the beautiful and fragrant sauce.

Our server was amazing. Our waiter checked up on us every 10 minutes. It was a slow day, so not many people but the music was good and loud enough without being disturbing. The soda machine was broken when we were there, but I doubt it's a common occurrence and we got alternative drinks. The food was good although privey.

Niesztuka in Gdańsk offers a truly delightful dining experience, one that deserves far more attention. The food is exceptional and modern in presentation - it is showcasing a clear passion for flavour and quality ingredients. We were particularly impressed by the delicate mushroom scallops, a masterful combination of earthy and oceanic notes. The churros dessert provided a perfect, sweet conclusion, crispy and warm, a real treat. Our server was a highlight of the evening. Their knowledge of the menu was extensive, and they were able to offer insightful recommendations. Beyond that, their friendly and fun demeanour created a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere - they changed up the music and also offered recommendations for onward places to visit They were attentive without being intrusive, ensuring we had everything we needed. The only slight drawback was the ambience, which felt a little subdued. However, this was solely due to the fact that we were the only diners present during our visit. Undoubtedly, with a fuller house in a busier season, the atmosphere would be vibrant and lively. Despite this, the quality of the food and the outstanding service more than compensated. Niesztuka is a gem of Gdańsk's restaurant scene, and we highly recommend it.
