Beautiful spot to have a bite to eat. The staff are amazing and the food is great and reasonably priced

Such a delicious experience, so many taste and texture sensations, the abalone butter OMG! The desert was extraordinary, rose gin, raspberry curd, syllabub on a thyme pistachio dacquoise, perfect after all the other rich courses. But wait! There’s more! Little petite fours to finish. We did the wine pairing, but we started with a separate glass, which in hindsight was not a good decision! Interestingly my dining partner lost his sense of taste in an accident, so missed that part of experience, however he enjoyed himself immensely, the theatre of the food, textures, such interesting conversations with Simon Bold the owner. Such an intimate space, a small tightknit team, pretty sure the sous chef has been with Simon for some time. Our sommelier was such a sweetie, voice a little soft would be my only criticism. And then after leaving and waiting forever for a taxi to be allocated, we gave up and started walking home. Both staff checked out if we were OK (they knew about that extra glass of wine!) and she stopped on her way home to see the if we needed a lift! Only in Devonport 🤣 Now that is going the extra mile! I have been to Taste several times over the years, wish I could afford every month for the new menu! It never disappoints, but I think this menu topped them all. Thank you Simon and team, we are so lucky to have a restaurant of this calibre in our beautiful city. 🥰😋

Gorgeous venue serving delicious food and cocktails. Service was outstanding. We look forward to returning.

Lovely friendly staff and very helpful Venue was very wheelchair friendly and staff were very helpful to get in and out holding the door open for us would definitely go back with clients again Food was great very yummy
