Set within CAST, a hidden gem in the heart of Helston, CAST Café offers delicious, seasonal food and approachable natural wines, delivered with warm and welcoming service. We overlook the quiet side of Helston, benefiting from views of its historic homes and rolling hills which can be enjoyed inside our bright and airy dining space or on our tranquil, sun trap of a terrace. Equidistant between Penzance and Falmouth, on the northern end of the Lizard, we're surrounded by incredible produce. We have the pleasure of working with a small selection of wonderful people that grow, rear and catch remarkable ingredients and our menus reflect this, changing regularly (if not daily). CAST Café is run by the duo that set up and managed Argoe (as Restaurant Manager and Head Chef for 3+ years), which received and maintained numerous accolades under their management.

As a coeliac I was well looked after by our lovely waitress who was very knowledgeable about what I could and couldn’t eat. I had the burrata to start and lobster for main which were both outstanding! If I could request one thing it would be to PLEASE, please, please get a separate fryer so we (gluten free-ers) are able to enjoy even more on the menu like the chips which looked delicious but I only got to see my husband and son enjoy them! All in all, such a great place, amazing food and lovely staff.
