    The restaurant is a little dark in the late afternoon. We had the calamari to start. Crispy, tender rings and tentacles. Good sauces. Then we had mussels basquaise. Fat, perfectly cooked mussels in smoky garlicky chorizo tomato sauce with a large tasty slice of garlic bread. Delish. The third dish was broiled oysters with Parmesan. These were a little sandy but tasty. For dessert, we shared an outstanding slice of Basque pumpkin cheesecake with whipped cream and cocoa nibs and pumpkin seeds on top. We were swooning; it was so good. Service was prompt, competent and friendly. Thanks for a great dinner.
