We visited The Wheatsheaf after a recommendation from another restaurant in the area. So pleased that they did. The staff were so fantastic and knowledgeable about the menu. We all ordered different items from the menu and everything was lovely and really reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit

The staff were so friendly and welcoming which was lovely as it was our first visit. We chose to sit in the bar are as it was early at the suggestion of the staff member because it was quiet in restaurant. Food was delicious and wholesome. Good choice of wines. Wonderful atmosphere with a mix of local drinkers and diners. Beautiful log fire and dogs welcome. Definitely going back as we enjoyed it so much.
