An Absolutely Extraordinary Dining Experience — Michelin, Are You Listening? There are good restaurants, there are great restaurants, and then there are places that make you stop mid-bite, look across the table, and wonder how something can possibly taste that good. The Wassweiler is one of those places. We ordered the duck and the teres major, and both were nothing short of spectacular. The flavors, preparation, presentation, and attention to detail were exceptional. Every bite felt intentional, beautifully balanced, and executed with the kind of precision you’d expect from a truly world-class kitchen. And then there was Jess. Exceptional service can elevate a wonderful meal into an unforgettable experience, and Jess did exactly that. She was knowledgeable, personable, attentive without ever being intrusive, and genuinely passionate about making our evening special. Her wine recommendation was absolutely outstanding and complemented our meal beautifully. She didn’t just serve dinner; she helped create an experience. What makes The Wassweiler remarkable is that nothing feels forced or pretentious. It’s sophisticated without being stuffy, refined without losing its warmth, and genuinely memorable from beginning to end. I’ve enjoyed some extraordinary dining experiences, and I don’t say this lightly: The Wassweiler deserves to be in the conversation for Michelin recognition. The culinary execution, hospitality, and overall experience are operating at a level that deserves serious attention. To the chef and kitchen: Bravo. To Jess: You are an absolute treasure. And to anyone considering dining here: Make the reservation. Order something adventurous. Trust the wine recommendation. Enjoy every minute. Five stars simply don’t feel like enough.

Started with a refreshing martini from their menu. We had the steak nightly special with shrimp taco appetizers and Caesar salad. Pie choices for dessert, the pumpkin was good. The steak was more than expected in the middle of know where. Tender filet with asparagus and double baked potatoes. Great combination.

Everything about the evening, from the friendly greeting to the excellent service and the delicious and meticulously prepared meal was outstanding. Having the pleasure of the chef visit our table capped our experience. Well done!

This is such a cute cross between fine dining and local watering hole. If the evening had been a bit warmer, we’d have loved to sit on the patio. The drinks were good and the filet was fantastic. The Basque cheesecake was the perfect finish to dinner.
