They have valet parking which is a plus taking in account the weather right now. They’re really prepared for keeping you warmed although winter. Service was friendly and all the food was delicious!! I tried the golden glow cocktail (Non-alcoholic) and I LOVED IT! Chicken Caesar salad and fried artichoke are a must as an appetizers. My husband got the penne a la vodka I got the seafood crepes (both delicious). To finished, we tried the tiramisu which I personally not a big fan but this was really good. Definitely we’ll coming back in the future, highly recommended for special occasions!More infoPortico Restaurant - RichmondPrice: Moderate• Italian• Richmond•4.7
- AAllenVirginia •4 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe start with the Pork and shrimp in roasted pork broth and it was excellent. Nice broth with the bread also. We then had the filet and had to be the absolute 💯 best we have every had. Got it medium, but if I had know how flavorful it was I would have ordered medium rare. Such a great steak and we are still having about it to our family and friends. So good. For desert I had the chocolate ganache, and again it was wonderful 😋. We will definitely be back. Cons were the parking, in that it the lot was full and had to wait for a spot to open. And the noise in the resturant was very loud. Food wise. I cannot fully describe how excellent it was. If you have not been, you are definitely missing a dinner you will definitely enjoy. We did for our 41st wedding anniversary.More infoMidlothian Chef's KitchenPrice: Moderate• American• Midlothian•4.8
- PPamelaVirginia •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThe Boathouse is an absolute gem, especially during the holiday season! The Christmas décor was charming and festive, setting the perfect holiday mood. I was particularly captivated by the display of beautiful antique canoes, which added a unique and nostalgic touch to the ambiance. The food was outstanding! I enjoyed a feast of lobster, shrimp, and crab, all prepared to perfection. The seafood was fresh, flavorful, and expertly cooked, making every bite memorable. To top it all off, the wait staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Their warm hospitality made the experience even more special. If you’re looking for a place that combines great food, beautiful décor, and excellent service, The Boathouse is the spot. Highly recommended for the holidays—or any time of year!More infoThe Boathouse at Sunday ParkPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Midlothian•4.3
- BBetsyvipVirginia •77 reviews4.0Dined on Nov 12, 2024Awhile back we stopped going to Red Lobster in Midlothian because the food and service were so poor. They never seemed to recover from 2020 challenges. Even the cheese biscuits were bad. We decided to try it again last night because they offered a free meal for veterans. Everything was very good. Our waitress was professional and friendly. The food was back to pre 2020 standards. The cheese biscuits were perfect. We will definitely be back.More infoRed Lobster - MidlothianPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Midlothian•4.2
