We have created a casual and sociable environment where customers are invited to experience our food, try our wines, shop from our deli and share our love of all things French!

Beautiful meal as always. Hearty traditional food with an element of fine dining. Always love it here. Service was excellent and as it was my husbands birthday they brought him his desert with a candle and sang happy birthday to him!

We've been to Cote in Wimbledon many times, and the one in Chichester, but never to the Newcastle branch. Cote is always reliable, so we expected to have a good experience, and we certainly did. Starting off by being welcomed with a glass of fizz each because it was my wife's birthday, which was a pleasant surprise (never quite sure if ticking those 'special occasion' boxes works, but this one did!). We also partly booked because it was Newcastle Restaurant Week, but by the time we'd upgraded ourselves with the steak frites and the wine we ended up spending about twice what we'd intended - but worth every penny. The staff were friendly and efficient, the atmosphere very pleasant (packed but not noisy), the food really good - I have to single out the chocolate mousse, which was divine, but the steak also was tasty, in fact it was all top notch. We'll definitely be back.
