Great food and service. The lobster risotto was amazing. Server was also amazing. Highly recommend the sticky toffee pudding

Duke's was the perfect spot for an anniversary dinner. The ambiance is warm and welcoming. It has a little bit of a vintage steakhouse feel, but we absolutely loved it. Our server was very competent and attentive. I ordered the Fillet Mignon Oscar Style and it was rich and delicious. Perfectly cooked and well seasoned. The accompanying potato and green beans were also excellently cooked. My husband had the prime rib and was equally pleased. It's rare that we go somewhere for a "dining experience", but on our anniversaries we do and this was much needed and well enjoyed. We will definitely be returning.

We’ve eaten at Gar Woods many times and always enjoy everything. Last night our waiter, Martin as exceptional. A true value to your restaurant.

Enjoyed appetizers and cocktails. The goat cheese balls were delicious. The Wolf bread was recommended by the waiter and it was Wonderful. We also enjoyed Ahi Tartare Tosstadas and Crispy Tricolor Cauliflower. The 3 of us were full after having appetizers that we passed on dinner and shared a DELICIOUS COBBLER. The Gin Cactus drinks were OK that the waiter recommended. Next time definitely try something different. Drinks were coming out of the bar that looked yummy. Wonderful experience and beautiful ambiance.

The BEST eggplant parmesan and chicken piccata. Chris, the manager, so gracious and welcoming. Definitely a “find” on a back street in Carson City.
