    Thought I was eating in a small restaurant in France. Food was absolutely delicious. Took my wife, relaxed, French cool, not pretentious. So much better than going to a chain restaurant, dinner leaves you with a memory. And unless you are a top home cook, you're never going to recreate the flavours. Perfect date night dinner choice, and if I had a mate visiting Stortford, I would definitely take him there. Breakfast menu looks great, will be going back. Thanks!

    I took my fiance here for our anniversary meal and we both had a perfect evening. The food was fantastic, as was the atmosphere. Our server Chris was friendly and attentive, and made our experience even better. It was our first time visiting Host and we have both said we would love to go back ASAP.

    Lunch for six. The welcome, ambiance, welcome and food were all outstanding. The starched napery was a welcome bonus not often seen in pubs (even gastropubs) these days. However, we were very slightly stunned to notice a flier for their 3-course Christmas Fayre at £120pp !! We will certainly return.
