- SShelleySan Francisco Bay Area •11 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoProbably the best dining experience of my life. Each dish was so thoughtfully designed and the flavors were incredible. Cuisine is very Japanese inspired. We are planning to return in the fall. Was worth the price.More infoSingleThread Restaurant & Inn$$$$• Californian• Healdsburg•4.9

We appreciated every bite of every dish and the experience of the service. The staff was wonderful and explained how special each dish was and how it was influenced.More infoThe Lodge at Dawn Ranch$$$$• Farm-to-table• Guerneville•4.9
- GGannonSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoTo start: the views, setting, and ambience are wonderful. I’ve been coming to Sea Ranch once or twice a year for all 24 years of my life, and the view from the dining room still blew me away. My wife and I came to the lodge for a honeymoon celebration, and it did not disappoint. We got the grilled octopus and the pork belly as starters, and both were superb. The octopus had great flavor, and the seaweed salad it came with paired perfectly with the spiciness and sweetness of the tamarind glaze. The pork belly was, unfortunately for me, special enough to where I’ve been asked by my wife to try and replicate it soon—something that I fear might be impossible. It was some of the most tender meat I’ve ever had in my entire life, and the fat basically melts in your mouth. I heavily recommend it. For our entrees: I went with the honey glazed duck breast, and my wife got the spring pea risotto. I rarely am presented with the opportunity to eat duck, so I knew going in that is what I would opt for. I must say it was quite good, and the inclusion of the berries and hazelnuts complimented the dish very well. The portion size was also perfect—not too big, but didn’t leave me hungry. As for the spring pea risotto… it was arguably the best tasting dish I have ever had in my entire life. After trying a bite of my wife’s, I knew immediately I had ordered the wrong thing, and not because the duck wasn’t good. It balances a springy, green flavor with a creamy, stracciatella-driven richness that both pair perfectly with the preserved lemon. I will spend the rest of my life trying to replicate it if I have to. Lastly, for dessert, we got the raspberry sorbet. I challenge you to try and find one that’s better tasting. It’s very simple, yet so good. Overall, our meal (including ~24% tip) was a little over $300–which included multiple glasses of wine each. For the view and food alone, it’s definitely worth it. But considering the service is great too, it’s a no-brainer.More infoThe Sea Ranch Lodge$$$$• Farm-to-table• Sea Ranch•4.5
- MMarvelleLos Angeles •13 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe had a wonderful dinner at Drakes, celebrating a birthday. The food was outstanding! We had the fish with cannellini beans and mushrooms in the most delicious broth, the grilled asparagus, which was cooked perfectly, and started with the charcuterie board with fabulous local cheeses and meats! Our waitress, Kelsey was very attentive and personable!More infoDrakes Sonoma Coast$$$$• Contemporary American• Bodega Bay•4.6

A stunning and whimsical home perched atop a hill covered in beautiful floral embellishments and overlooking vineyards. A captivating property to say the least. The staff 12/10. Everyone was so professional, kind, informative and helpful with any questions we had, with whomever we asked. They seem to have a great team there. Our food was delicious, every bite savory and joyful. We hardly left a crumb… We cannot wait to be back for more brunch and dinner dining here!More infoThe Madrona$$$$• Farm-to-table• Healdsburg•4.7
