I loved the idea of being in a historic building that had modern touches. From the moment we arrived until we left, the people were very friendly and helpful. The food was very good (we went for brunch) and we enjoyed the saxophonist (although a little loud for my taste, but then I have some sensory issues around noise levels). We celebrated our anniversary and will definitely go back to try dinner or the rooftop.

A Dunedin favorite! We love the mussels, truffle fries, Brussels sprouts, crab cakes and handcrafted cocktails. Really, everything is delicious!

Having dined at the Black Pearl more than 15 years ago, I knew it was a special gem but had forgotten about all of the special touches. You are welcomed at the door like family and promptly seated for your reservation. You quickly feel whisked away to another world by warm and attentive staff. Adam, their sommelier somehow knew exactly what we'd like when he suggested a different bottle of wine than we had originally chosen. Our bottle of Vintage Burgundy took us on quite the journey through all of the delicious courses. Looking around at many satisfied faces, we knew there were no wrong decisions on the menu. We indulged in the pork belly, lobster risotto and filet mignon as well as the smaller courses between that were all bursting with flavor! Our server Dan assured us that ordering all of our courses at once will be appropriately spaced by their Chef as to not feel rushed. He was spot on! We HIGHLY recommend the Black Pearl for a special fine dinning experience.

Wife and I were looking for a nice seafood restaurant to celebrate our 32 anniversary with nice atmosphere and a view. All the restaurants in Clearwater Beach area were just frying seafood to death. Discovered Dunedin and Bon Appetit. We were seated in a wonderful corner table with great view of the bay and sunset. From our cocktails, octopus appetizer, wife had scallops, I had land and surf to the dessert was a very enjoyable experience that we hope to return and enjoy again Thank You Bon Appetit for our wonderful anniversary dinner experience.
