We offer good quality, home-cooked, locally sourced (where possible) food. 90% of our menu is made on the premises. Certainly not ‘Pub Grub’ but not ‘Gastro Pub’ either. It’s good value for money. However, our standards are high, very high. Not only in the quality of the food that comes into and leaves the kitchen but also in the presentation, the delivery to the table and overall customer service. We’re definitely not ‘Silver Service’ either but all of our staff are attentive, smartly dressed and will always go that extra mile wherever they can. These are just some of the reasons we were awarded the Taste of the West GOLD award in 2019. We are a dog friendly establishment, very dog friendly. However, please tell us at the time of booking so that we can place you in our Bar area , as opposed to our Restaurant.

    A night to remember! From the moment we arrived we were looked after and treated like royalty. Our servers were incredible and every staff member we met was very friendly and helpful. It was like stepping into another world. Even though we had a table of 10, the food came out in good time and was delicious! A great night of celebration made very special by The Ivy and all its staff. Thank you to all, our wonderful servers, front of house, and the chefs. Top marks all round! Can’t wait to return. Thanks!

    Clare, Ollie and Minos are a brilliant team and made our evening out with friends relaxed and very welcoming. The food was of a really high standard and all meals and desserts were thoroughly enjoyed. This has now become our go to pub either as a couple or when friends visit, we would find it very hard to go anywhere else. Thank you everyone at the White Horse.

    We ate with two of our friends and as usual the food was delicious. We felt guilty that we had to leave some. Probably shouldn't have had a starter, but they were lovely - no waste there!! Beau (not sure of spelling - sorry!) was our waitress and was very attentive and polite. Overall, it was a very pleasant evening. Thank you all.
