Restaurants near The Light

Our first visit to Cut & Craft Leeds which did not disappoint. The service from each member of staff we encountered was outstanding, especially our waiter Giuseppe. The food and drinks were phenomenal. We could not fault one single thing about our visit. Highly recommend.

Had the set lunch menu , 3 courses for £28, which was good value. Had haddock starter and steak frites. I requested fried onions instead of garlic butter which the chef kindly did (and a good portion too considering the restaurant was busy. My friend enjoyed her main of sea bass. Finished with honeycomb ice cream. Will be back!

The service is always exceptional and today was no different . From reception to the end of our meal we were well looked after .Stephen deserves a special mention as he is obviously the master of his craft . He made us feel special on a special occasion . Staff were engaging, service was quick but not too quick. When the bill was presented it was pointed out the service charge was voluntary, I happily paid it. The food was very good, the dessert was bigger than expected, which was lovely. I could have done with a bit more chili on the prawn starter but that's down to my taste. Spaghetti was perfect. Would love a return visit.
