10/10 Food: Tirokafteri, smoked beat salad, imam bayldi, kolokitokeftedes, Sheep cheese with dates, lamb baharat, and walnut delight. (Came out to $107 with tip) Everything was amazing. The zucchini pancakes were my girlfriend’s favorite. I loved the lamb although the portion was a little small. Service: staff were very polite and attentive. I wish they brought the food out a little slower. I felt like we were being rushed to clear plates and make room for our next dishes. Ambience: the place is large but still feels cozy and comfortable. A little cold inside but that was a benefit for us as it was very hot. The table we were at had the sun shining in through a window that didn’t have a curtain directly on our face but fortunately as the sun go lower it wasn’t a problem. It was a little loud. Tables are very comfortable and you have good distance from other diners. Prices are super reasonable. The low of individual dishes allows you to order a bunch of options —which we loved. Highly recommend going here!

Our trip to DC wouldn’t have been the same without a dinner at The Hamilton! It exceeded our expectations in every category. Delicious food (get a side of mumbo sauce with your fries), outstanding service (shoutout to our amazing waitress from Tuscaloosa), convenient location (very walkable to many must see spots) and overall it exuded a charming and quintessential DC vibe. Thanks for a memorable experience. We can’t wait to come back!

Joe's never disappoints but our most recent dinner was exceptional. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and as soon as we arrived, the hostess wished us a happy anniversary...followed by the maitre d', waiters and even busboys. There was a Happy Anniversary card at our table and when we finished dinner, our waiter brought a slice of key lime pie with a candle. Restaurants with food and service like this are getting harder and harder to find!
