A Family Tradition for Over 90 YearsMrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant first opened in 1934 with Mrs. Knott and her children serving the first customers in their tearoom. The restaurant has grown over the years into one of the largest in California, but the classic fried chicken dinner is still made the same way today using Mrs. Knott's recipes. Every complete chicken dinner includes handmade biscuits, cup of soup, side salad/and or cherry rhubarb, four pieces of fried chicken with mashed potatoes smothered and a choice between corn or cabbage. For dessert: choose between Boysenberry or Apple pie. We offer other dishes such as Roasted Chicken, Specialty Salads, Salmon, and a number of appetizers. A full-service bar, serving signature boysenberry-infused cocktails, is also available.

    We had Adam as our server. Despite seeming to have a full section and quite a few tables he kept up his energy and continued to give us great service. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and was decked out with rock memorabilia. We had an absolute great time listening to and watching the music videos on the tvs. we will definitely be back.

    As always, Strong Water delivered excellence beyond expectations. They care about every detail from the decor, the service, the food, and even the drinks. It’s always top of our list to celebrate even the most mundane of victories, like just because it’s Thursday! It’s by far the best tiki bar I have ever experienced, and I have no doubt it will maintain that status.

    We had a really great dinner yesterday at Claim jumper. We had no idea that it was the last weekend that it was gonna be in existence at this location and that Monday was its last day. Nonetheless, the restaurant was very busy and I’m glad that I had a reservation. Food Was on point. Everything was delicious and I will miss this location.
