As a coeliac I was well looked after by our lovely waitress who was very knowledgeable about what I could and couldn’t eat. I had the burrata to start and lobster for main which were both outstanding! If I could request one thing it would be to PLEASE, please, please get a separate fryer so we (gluten free-ers) are able to enjoy even more on the menu like the chips which looked delicious but I only got to see my husband and son enjoy them! All in all, such a great place, amazing food and lovely staff.

We have been meaning to try this place for sometime- what a jem. Easy free parking across the road, good choice of food well cooked and lovely staff really trying to please. There is really nothing to fault and deserves all the awards it has received. It was busy when we went on a Thursday and the ambience was great

We booked at Clowance specifically to take advantage of their “Seniors’ Lunch” with a couple of friends - we are owners/members and have been seeing it advertised and finally tried it. It’s a two course menu for £15 serving a main (7 options) and a dessert (3 options). Three of us had the Ham, egg and chips with the other having the Scampi and chips. Followed by two lots of Mixed berry Bread & Butter pudding, one of Summer berry Trifle and one of Moomaid Icecream. Service was friendly and attentive, and the food (portions sized for seniors) nicely cooked, presented and tasty. A more comprehensive lunch menu is available as well as the full range of their wines and drinks. Will definitely be going back for this again. Thank you to the team.
