    Ely restaurant was a pleasant surprise when my wife and I dined there for our anniversary. The pace of service was just right, the waiter was perfect, he was there for us without being overbearing. The martinis were done precisely as we requested. The fried oysters were delicious. My wife had the filet mignon and I had the ribeye, both were cooked perfectly and were very good. We would highly recommend Ely as one of the better restaurants in the Jackson, Ridgeland, Madison area.
