- BBrianTampa / Central Florida West •9 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThis was an amazing experience. Fabulous setting overlooking the Pacific Ocean on Big Sur. The salad was prepared with freshly sourced greens and vegetables topped off with a home made ranch dressing. It was great. The carrot soup was smooth and elegantly topped off with fresh chopped apple pieces. The fresh striped Pacific Bass was seared to perfection and the flat iron steak was tender and delicious. The apple crunch top desert was exquisite with crema on top accompanied by a slice of dried apple. This is a can't miss experience for the amazing setting and superb food and service.More infoSierra Mar - Post Ranch InnPrice: Very Expensive• Organic• Big Sur•4.7

We have never been disappointed in all these years and The Chart House has always delivered. Thank you for always making our celebration evening that much more enjoyable and thank you for responding with our favorite table.More infoChart House Restaurant - MontereyPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Monterey•4.5
- KKarenSan Francisco Bay Area •39 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe started with a specialty cocktail and glass of sparkling. We chose sparkling since the up-charge on champagne was a bit silly ($32 for Veuve Cliquot). The Scharffenberger sparkling was rung at $16 a glass and went down easy. We split a fairly large Caesar salad and the house foccacia to start. Very good. My partner had the filet of sole (priced at $36); I the ribeye (priced at $65). Both were prepared well. We also ordered a side of Brussel sprouts since our server said the ribeye did not come with sides. This was a bit misleading. The ribeye was a hearty dish and had artichoke hearts, mushrooms and deep fried onion rings on top. Did not need the extra side which we boxed up and took home. Finished the evening with a warm chocolate cookie. Out the door close to $300 for two. On ambiance, the restaurant had flood lights on indoors. At one point they were appropriately turned down. Then brought back up. It was 6:00 p.m.More infoSchooners MontereyPrice: Expensive• Californian• Monterey•4.6

- MMarkvipCalifornia Central Coast •40 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoAn old world style experience. The server called me by name, then as our party received bread, water, other food, he then remembered and asked how to pronounce the names of others in our party. Food was very good, and our servers team was very pleasant, professional , and everything you could ask for. A gentleman, not with us, was seated at a table close by with his party and the and the server and his team made every effort to see he was seated, comfortably and moved his and his parties, drinks, chairs etc. to make it so. All with a smile and a wonderful attitude.More infoSardine FactoryPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Monterey•4.7
