We had a wonderful meal at Todd English’s Blue Zoo. The food was delicious, we had the scallop app. and both had fish for dinner! I could eat that every night. Service was amazing, Brandon answered all our questions and his recommendations were on point, from the zooberry cocktail to the appetizer, to the sauce for our fish choice. Thank you Brandon for making our dinner a wonderful experience!

Server Chiara was on point and knew every single detail of all the dishes we tried. Absolutely flawless experience from the servers and server assistants. The food continues to exceed our expectations! Where they need service training is in the hostess stand. Walked up to no greeting, just “hi” and then a staring contest. (Awkward) I anticipated the lack of greeting so I waited as well, until she made another comment, “Do you have a reservation?” This style of hostess greeting seems to be more common place now, but it doesn’t have to be. Having experience in hospitality a very simple “Welcome to Jaleo, how may I assist you?” is so easy to do. This simple greeting / question is so much more warm and welcoming than “hi” and putting it on the guest to try and explain they made a reservation to dine (and in the notes already provided that we’re celebrating and anniversary and a job promotion) But, it seemed more of an inconvenience that my wife and I choose to dine with you. The good news is, it’s the second time dining there and we are moving to DC. We are very excited to know their is a Jaleo in DC as we will be frequenting it. Hopefully the greeting improves as it will set a better tone of the experience for the night and doesn’t leave it on the servers and food to make up for it.

We have stayed at the Swan Reserve before and met Nikki at the **restaurant** on the date we checked in during breakfast. It had been weeks since our last visit to the **restaurant**. To our surprise, both the hostess and Nikki still remembered us! They really made us feel as if we were coming home for dinner. We have enjoyed all of our food as always. Their Mediterranean cuisine is not only healthy but the taste is phenomenal as well. I love the hint of citrus in the octopus appetizer, and garlic in the shrimp appetizer! Nevertheless, it’s the heartwarming wonderful staff who make us come back time and time again! Thank you, Nikki, for making another dinner experience perfect for us!
