The Winery Restaurant has been an icon among western Colorado restaurants for over 35 years. The restaurant makes its home in a 95 year old building that used to house a horse drawn fire station. A gas lamp lit, grapevine canopied alley frames this romantic location perfectly. The beautifully remodeled building contains flowered stain glass windows, barn wood and bricks.Steve Thoms acquired the restaurant in late June of 2004 after taking a couple of years off from his previous restaurant. His mission at he Winery is simple: Show the restaurant and its patrons the attention that they deserve.     This place was amazing! The food was excellent! The atmosphere was very nice. Conner, our server, was knowledgeable and spot on with his suggestions. The Ribeye was cooked to perfection and the Paella was perfectly spicy. As a birthday treat for my wife they gave us a blondie brownie, with caramel drizzle and whipped cream. That and the espresso martini made for a perfect ending to am outstanding meal. We would recommend this restaurant without reservation - easily one of our favorites!

    Started going to Ocotillo because a rising star in music Rayna performs there every other Friday. It’s so nice to eat with live music, and she’s a fantastic performer. Our first experience the music was good but the service was god awful and the bartender was plain out dismissive and mean to on of our guests. They did not want to go back, but we had to go back for the music and the food!!! So glad we did, a completely different experience, our new server Cora was awesome, music amazing, food outstanding, and drinks delightful. Would recommend.

    We are from out of town, and I was just looking for a place to eat for dinner. Spoons came up on Google Maps as a restaurant choice and it looked lovely. I was able to make a reservation, yet we went over early, and we were able to get seated. It was a gorgeous autumn day and we sat outside on their patio near the fountain. It was just lovely. But to add to our experience was the friendly and helpful wait staff and the really good food! My husband wanted a beer, and they don’t serve it, but they do serve beer battered french fries! They’re possibly the best french fries I’ve ever had - in my entire life! I kid you not! So good! I wish I lived closer and could come back again.
