- NKNatalieKNashville •9 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoI recently visited Iberian Pig for the first time for a small dinner to celebrate a friend's birthday. The ambience was chic yet comfortable. An upscale sort of cozy, if that makes sense. It's the perfect place for a winter dinner or happy hour. The happy hour red was so rich with tannins and the sangria was flavorful and a massive pour! It's easily one of the best happy hours in Nashville. Seating was comfortable and the menu - from drinks to tapas - is vast. The food was absolutely incredible - We tried 8 different dishes and I'm not quite sure what my favorite is; although, I do have to note how flavorful and tender the octopus was. It could literally melt in your mouth. Our server, Aaron, was absolutely phenomenal. One member of our party had a severe nut allergy which was noted in the online reservation we made. From the moment we sat down, he was prepared, mentioning the nut allergy to us first. He talked through it with us and outlined each dish that contained nuts and how they could make special arrangements to remove nuts and alter the dish IF it was something we wanted to try. He came back several times to double check and make sure the dishes were okay - one time he even went back to the kitchen to double check that a sauce contained no nuts (something he spotted and proactively checked on - we didn't even have to ask). He was pleasant, funny, prompt, attentive ... We never had to ask for anything - he magically showed up every time a plate was finished or a glass was emptied. We were all so impressed. We watched him hustle all over the dining room we were in. If there is an MVP Award at Iberian Pig, Aaron should definitely be in the running!! Overall we had an excellent experience and will absolutely return soon.More infoIberian Pig - NashvillePrice: Moderate• Spanish• The Gulch & North Gulch•4.8
