While most of the country makes their pizzas in round pans, the Detroit suburb of Sterling Heights does it differently. Taking their cue from the nearby Motor City, pizzas in Sterling Heights are baked in a Detroit-style rectangular shape. Despite the fact that Michigan is far removed from New York's original Coney Island, one of the state's favorite quick meals is a Coney dog. When in Sterling Heights, be sure to sample at least one of these chili-topped hot dogs. Ready to take your meal up a step from pizza and hot dogs?
