Diners' Choice Winners: Best Overall
Montreal's best restaurants based upon thousands of OpenTable diner reviews
An amazing spot for a special meal. Creative cuisine with the freshest of local ingredients. There are so many layers of flavors in their dishes. You will not be disappointed. A talented chef, service that spoils you, and great ambience. Truly the best restaurant in Montreal. I dine here every time I visit this beautiful city. Make a reservation. Their recent renovation has made a few more tables available, but it’s still tough to get a seat here without reserving in advance. MoreOpenTable Diner -
This restaurant made me feel like when I went to fancy restaurants with my grandparents. It has all the type of things that elegant restaurants did back in those days. Dressed up waiters, flambé in place, etc. We felt a little under dressed for the place, although it said informal (which it isn't) and it is pricy. If you want the elegant and fancy type of french restaurant, this is it. MoreOpenTable Diner -
From beginning to end my experience at Damas was fantastic. The staff is wonderful, knowledgeable and kind. The ambiance is very nice. The food is unique and flavorful. I highly recommend the tasting menu, you get a little bit of everything and there was nothing I didn’t LOVE (I attached a photo of 4 of the 15 dishes). Best restaurant in Montreal.
