I’m a solo traveler from Colorado, and Nightingale was hands down the highlight of my trip. From the moment I walked in, the hostesses made me feel like I was exactly where I was supposed to be. Warm, genuine, and completely unhurried. My server Andrea was exceptional. Her recommendations weren’t just good, they were thoughtful and spot on. She knew every detail of the menu with real confidence and passion, and every single suggestion landed perfectly. To the kitchen staff and Chef Hawksworth’s team: I don’t know how you do it, but every single bite was extraordinary. The beet salad, the full clam spaghetti, the salted caramel pot de crème. The clam to spaghetti ratio was literally perfect, and the jalapeño is a revelation. That pot de crème was the perfect ending to a perfect meal. You know a meal is special when you genuinely consider skipping brushing your teeth at bedtime, just so you might catch one more taste of it in your dreams. Nightingale, you have a customer for life. I’ll be back every time I’m in Vancouver, and I’ll be telling everyone I know.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Fabulous! Bufala Kerrisdale is wonderful. Myself and dinner companion were there with an incredible fixed course menu deal by TravelZoo. Bufala delivered above and beyond. The food was delicious and the staff were attentive, offering little extra touches like bringing a selection of special oils to the table (Georgie) for us to try on our pizza course. The staff also took care to ask us our preference on how we would like to receive the different courses and then paced them out beautifully. We never felt rushed and had time to really enjoy each course. We selected some red wine and the server did a perfect pouring for us. From beginning to end, myself and dinner companion, enjoyed the food, the staff and service, the comfy booth and not feeling rushed on a busy Saturday night. There was a general buzz in the restaurant that added to the ambience without being disturbing and overall we were really impressed. I really liked being able to book our reservation on Open Table, I earned points and could easily see what times were available and select one that suited us and then have the option to add in any special request. We always have a wonderful time at Minerva's. The food, the staff, the ambiance, all are superb! Great place for a good time!!!
