Best restaurants near me in Albany, CA

Skates’ Mother’s Day dinner experience was excellent. We were seated a couple minutes before our reservation time which surprised me, I expected a 7:30 PM reservation time would be backed up. We got the window seat I requested and were served in a leisurely timely pattern. The prime rib was cooked to order and the mashed potatoes and asparagus delicious. My grandson‘s Coke was refilled on request. (This is a measure of excellent service because more often than not, the request is forgotten.) The busy waiter was more than willing to take our picture. A very nice Mother’s Day experience. 

Wonderful food and friendly service! Took my mom for Mother’s Day. We had the mazza platter, lamb/beef shawarma bowl, Greek salad, kofta burger and baklava crumbles. We also enjoyed the Lebanese coffee and mint lemonade. Delicious! We’ll be back.

Excellent in all aspects. Very creative menu options.

Our group of five enjoyed lunch on a quiet afternoon. Their pies are 9' or 12' and offer numerable custom options ~ rare amongst many pizza spots! with that in mind know wait time up to 25 minutes for delivery; we only ordered one starter roasted cauliflower to share. The pies were generous, prepped as ordered and service was relaxed. Fun !

Everest Kitchen was a great find for celebrating my friend’s 89th birthday. Comfortable and charming setting and lovely decor. The food was very good, vegetables very fresh and not overcooked. Sauces delicious and not too spicy. Rice and lentil soup came with our dinner entrees. We arrived early enough to order a few happy hour appetizers and enjoy some Prosecco. The servers were attentive, helpful and all very attractive. Turns out they’re all related. This is a family restaurant and they have good reason to be proud of it. I’m looking forward to returning for their lunchtime Thali special.
