The room was exquisite and the French toast was the tastiest I’ve ever experienced.

Yesterday we ate at Il Giardino Bar & Restaurant and it was an amazing experience. The food was exquisite, perfectly balanced flavors, authentic and yet innovative italian cuisine in a sophisticated atmosphere. The staff was very kind and attentive. It’s a gem in disguise.

Very lovely and welcoming staff with warm smiles (service that is rare to find in Milan), very clean (all the way to the bathroom) and beautiful ambience. Most importantly, the food didn’t disappoint. I came initially for the paella (pictures on website looked amazing) but finally I had the sea urchin pasta and my husband, the seafood risotto. We throughly enjoyed ourselves. Very good quality and reasonable amount. When we asked for olive oil for dipping our bread, we were given to try a really good one - an initiative I really appreciated by the staff’s kind gesture. I enjoyed every single bit of our experience that is high quality and stowed away from the noisy city. Strongly recommended!

Unexpected delightful evening. Excellent service and a reasonable menu. Not too many selections but each week described. Location not far from Duomo so a taxi in order. Wine list was very extensive and included very reasonable priced favorites as well as top end choices.
