This mother–daughter run dim sum cocktail bar is based in the heart of Mare Street. The authentic flavours are down to generations-old family recipes that head chef, Lily, grew up making and eating in Beijing. Guests can enjoy handcrafted dim sum and small plates, such as dumplings, smashed cucumber salad, Sichuan bang bang chicken, and xiao mantou (steamed then fried buns dipped in sweet condensed milk). We loved this; going in a small group allowed us to try lots. We especially liked the seabass crudo, the saffron risotto, and more seabass! All good, and I thought the staff hit the crucial balance of being attentive but in the right way!
