I was dining with family and friends over Mother’s Day weekend. Everything about our experience was phenomenal, and I appreciated the fact that George personally visited with his customers. Wichita is lucky to have such a wonderful restaurant available to us. Several people at my table ordered the seafood crêpes. They were very good and the desserts were phenomenal.

My wife wanted to have her Mother's Day outing on the Saturday before Mother's Day to avoid a long wait-time, over-crowding and over-booking. KVH Chophouse was recommended to her from a friend, so we thought we'd give them a try. The ambiance, food, service and decor was beautiful and excellent! Our steaks were cooked to order and everything else was just as perfect!! Only complaint was that the dress code requirements were misleading on Open Table (which handled the reservations). Our party felt overdressed as we noticed the majority of diners were very casually dressed - some in jeans, sneakers, t-shirts, women in sandals and open-toed shoes. Totally opposite of what Open Table said the dress code requirements of that establishment were. Very misleading for first-time KVH Chophouse diners, While we will definitely be returning diners, we highly recommend this fine establishment. The Renaissance Cafe was the Kansas equivalent of Ruth's Chris that I go to in Roseville, CA. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding.

The evening was very pleasant, the food was delicious, and the service was great.
