Had the set menu lunch. I'm coeliac and have to be very careful about the potential for gluten. I was very reassured by the server's knowledge about dietary requirements and my options were clearly marked on the menu. Some dishes were completely gluten free and others could be made GF. There were very few that I couldn't have which is unusual! The food was fabulous. Scallops starter was on the small side, but delicious and probably appropriate for the gorgeous seafood stew that followed. My plate was accompanied with gluten free bread. Good value for money for such good food. Service was excellent and although busy, we didn't feel tight for space.

Our waitress Luisa was extremely helpful and welcoming for our first time in the Spanish Butcher. We are both picky eaters but love a steak so asked Luisa for her recommendations based on this. She took the time to explain the cuts of steak and recommended what she thought would be best for us. We ended up going for one of the sharing specials and were blown away. The steak was delicious, perfectly cooked and the sides were also excellent. The overall experience, particularly from being welcomed so warmly was exceptional and nothing like any customer service we have ever experienced in the best way possible. Luisa is a credit to the restaurant and should be commended for this. Thank you :)
