    Absolutely fantastic food, fresh ingredients and very flavoursome - we honestly could not speak higher of the quality of food we had. We ordered the platter for two and there was ample for us both. The staff, the ambience and atmosphere was all top notch. It’s not often I eat out and feel it’s been a great success but this certainly was and I will be returning for sure. Even to the detail of the door being opened on entry and exit was a lovely touch.

    The food is always excellent, I had the garden plate whick has lots of different elements, yummy. My friend had fruit pancakes which ain't really my thing but I tried some anyway and they were delicious. Ambience and staff fantastic. Should be able to pay with cash and tip staff with cash. Service charge should be made obvious too.

    A first time here for my friends and I. Everything was great. Food was tasty, delivered with a smile by polite staff and in lovely surroundings. A great place to catch up in between Braintree and Colchester.
