5 stars! Excellent food, great service, and perfect location. Everything was fresh and delicious, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality. Duval's Fresh. Local. Seafood is a fantastic value and highly recommended. Will definitely come back!

We're never disappointed. The service is outstanding and the food choices make it difficult to order! There are so many good options. Favorites are the salmon, Philly Steak, and this last time we tried 3 happy hour appetizers. Every single dish was great and we would order them again. This is one of my favorite restaurants. Add in atmosphere and wine- how can you beat it?

Food here is fresh, well-prepared and nicely presented. Our server was Reggie and she is definitely top drawer! She knows how to take good care of dining guests. The bartender made our cocktails to specification 'which isn't easy. Our seating was comfortable. The other tables were not squeezed on top of us. Our table had a wonderful view of the Bay which is lucky because the restaurant was, and is usually, full. We did have a reservation which I'd advise anyone to do for a good restaurant in Sarasota. The prices at M.J are fair but know that dining out these days is an expensive evening and to be planned accordingly. Parking is free but tough to find because the area is a public marina. Lots of gorgeous yachts to see. If you are early enough there are spots to find or else pay a nominal fee to the valet at the restaurant entrance. Most of us locals love Marina Jack!
