$$$$ • Mediterranean • Centreville
My wife and I have had dinner here at Lezzet in Centreville on two occasions, and the experience was similarly fine both times. It seems to be a very new restaurant, and doesn’t seem to be drawing crowds yet, so the atmosphere is fairly quiet, except for the tv. Reservations are not necessary. The ambiance is clean and airy, at the corner of a strip mall. The food is tasty Turkish fare, with very few surprises. The menu is mostly kabobs and the like. I thoroughly enjoyed their lamb chops! Very tender and flavorful. They have some interesting appetizer choices, and we’ve tried several. Our favorites are the grilled vegetables, such as cauliflower and brussel sprouts. The service staff is very young and still gaining confidence, but they’ve been consistently polite. Overall, it’s a pleasant casual dining experience with your typical Mediterranean dishes done sufficiently well. I would expect lower prices here, but inflation is hitting us all hard these days.
