The food was delicious and the service excellent. We all had a great time and an unforgettable experience.
Always reliable; good food and service. with a menu that offers a great variety of choices
Good ambience and surprisingly large crowd for a Tuesday evening.
way too loud. it is impossible to talk at anything approaching normal tones.
great food and drinks. Fabulous!
Had a lovely birthday lunch at Nectar the other day. We started with the Calamari/Edamame app which was great. All three of us chose entrees off of the Express Lunch menu. Delicious Crispy Chicken, but we weren't wild about the Pork Sandwich. The portions were quite generous so we were too full for dessert. But that didn't stop our very thoughtful server from bringing us a birthday treat anyway. So sweet1 Our server and service was excellent! Cocktails were great, too! Always a pleasure to dine at Nectar!
Birthday dinner. Husband & myself. Everything was delicious. Service great
Always a great experience! Food is fantastic and service is excellent.
Food was a solid 7 out of 10. Entree was not warm enough. Sushi was pretty good. Service was fair. I expected a little more for the price.
Good overall meal except the Wok Lobster dish was very small for the price. There was just a half of a very small lobster for $35. Other than that everything was excellent.
The server was not friendly at all. We ordered lobster pad thai that cost over $30 and was an appetizer size. The chicken pad thai was great.
Great spot for quiet business lunch. Friendly staff, great service and most importantly great food preparation and presentation.
Food was not good- chicken rubbery, tasted awful
Food is amazing, service is always great, fun atmosphere - overall always a great experience!
Enjoyed our visit. Impressive & happening atmosphere. Food was good. Service was excellent. Only complaint was a bit overpriced.
Crowded, uncomfortable wait for reserved table on Saturday night. Food was excellent. Waiter spilled wine on me while delivering it to another table. His only comment was: "How did that happen?"
Our waiter, Aires was completely obnoxious. He was so rude to our new friends in town. We booked this place for a nice evening out with our friends from Armenia. We all got sushi. Most of us like a lot of extra ginger and was willing to pay for it. He kept bringing out a tiny side of it. We had to keep asking him to bring more. We ended up asking 5 times. Each time we needed more he just kept saying he Has other tables. When i finally asked him for a big bowl, he brought out to Babel’s to be more of noxious and ended up embarrassing us in front of our guests. I have never had this experience there before. I’ve always talked highly about this place. Sadly we won’t be back. Remember one thing, service is everything
Consistent outstanding food and service. Some of our favorites include the seared tuna roll, crispy chicken, filet with blue cheese dumplings and of course the donuts for dessert, the service is fantastic. Highly recommend Nectar.
Absolutely perfect dinner! It was my anniversary dinner and they went above and beyond what we expected, they even surprised us with a free desert spelling out "Happy Anniversary!" I can't wait to return next year.
The only thing that was a little weird was the dance club music playing in the restaurant. The place has such a nice ambiance but the music definitely took away from it.
Great food, great atmosphere, great service...as always.
Recently celebrated a birthday at Nectar. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience. I think the main entrees were better than the appetizers. The calamari was OK (I've had better) and my wife said the chicken curry dumplings were also "OK." My baby green salad wasn't too exciting. The entrees were an improvement, including my wife's bass and the various rice dishes. I had two sushi rolls for dinner. They were good but not exceptional. Mini donuts for dessert were tasty but didn't bowl anyone over.
Bottom line: nice atmosphere, very attentive service, and decent food. Probably a notch or two below "exceptional" food-wise. Whether or not you care to spend $30+ for "decent food" is up to you.
This was the most upsetting experience. While the food at Nectar is amazing - too often the service is poor. And, at the price point, at some point - it's just not worth it. On this occasion, even our server knew his service was so poor.. he (Aries) added a 20% tip in when bringing back the charge receipt. (We were a party of 6). When I inquired and explained to the manager that this was completely unacceptable, he apologized but told me only the owner could make any reparation ... and he would DEFINITELY call me back the next day. Ok - it's been a week and nothing. So... no. Just no. NEVER again. The server was rude to my (80+) mother who was excited to be celebrating my son's 21st birthday, literally mocking her. It was 30 minutes between courses. And, he never asked if we might like another drink. Couple that with the over zealous bus boys who were trying to clear dishes that still had food on them, while we were still chewing. UGH. SO disappointing because the cuisine is so so so delicious. If you don't mind walking out $350 later and thoroughly aggravated - go for it. UGH.
It was the first time I dined at Nectar, and it was incredible all around. The food was delicious, and our server Bob was the best - He made our first experience at the restaurant so pleasant. I'll definitely be back there often!
The food is fantastic, but this was the second time we’ve dined here and 2 weeks and both times the service was just - unforgivable.
Kind of loud for a date atmosphere
Sadly, this restaurant did not meet expectations. We had a 6:45 reservation and after being seated, we waited for 15 minutes and finally went to speak with management. Service was a challenge the entire evening. Our sushi was good but the service undercut the expectations.
Wonderful service, incredible food, and a great atmosphere. Nectar never disappoints!
Great food. Excellent service.
Always a great meal! Sushi is fresh and service is attentive and efficient. Love this place!
It's always great to return to Nectar. It never disappoints. The Menu offers a great variety of choices and the food is always excellent. Service was good, despite a busy Saturday night and surprisingly the noise level was bearable.
We introduced our out-of towners to the restaurant and they loved it.
Inventive presentation, palette pleasing cuisine and great ambiance add to a wonderful dining experience.
Food was amazing!! Dessert was awesome. You have to try the Vietnamese beef sliders.
We dined at Nectar on 2.15. I wish I can remember my waiter's name as he was outstanding! Fast Service, fun vibes, very nice sized drinks and the food was tremendous. Overall it was a super experience and I cannot wait to go back!
The room was full and we had to talk loudly to hear each other. One friend ordered the short ribs and they were very fatty and in part, difficult to chew. We told the waiter (who was very attentive and good) but nothing was done to compensate my friend for a pricey but lousy dish. The brussels sprouts were fantastic and my other friend loved her pad thai.
We had a wonderful lunch on Friday. The food was outstanding as was the service. We both had pad Thai, one chicken and one shrimp. We had the sake flight and we both enjoyed the selections.
Everything was good. But they overbooked for Valentine's Day my girlfriend and I had to wait about 30 minutes before getting seated
Valentines dinner was extremely Overbooked - about an hour pass our reservation time, no where to sit while waiting, no room to even stand, service was terrible and unfriendly probably bc they were running around and had no time to give attention, which made an unfriendly environment. Never again
What great food and ambiance; especially in the burbs. LOVE valet service so no hassle parking, particularly beneficial when it’s cold & wet. Great date night and wonderful bar for drinks & a bite (get the edamame dumplings - amazing!!!)
Loved it! My girlfriend and I went here and everything was delicious! We got the Dim Sum bento box for 2 as well as the vegetable fried rice with a fried egg on top. The atmosphere was really cool with lots of warm undertones and it was noisy but simply because it was valentine’s day and Nectar was a popular choice (for good reason too). Our server was very kind and the place was filled but not crowded- we had plenty of elbow room- yet this is a definite reservation type of place it would be difficult to simply walk in. It was above my pay ability since we are minors so we’ll definitely be back but likely for another special circumstance. We had a wonderful time!
Always amazing!! Perfect drinks, fantastic food and even better atmosphere. My favorite place.
Had an awesome Valentine's dinner. Our server was excellent and guided us through the menu selections and made great recommendations. We started with the crispy octopus and grilled foie gras sushi. We had filet with chiles and a chicken and shrimp dish with veggies as our main course. We also shared shrimp pad thai which we love. We shared a great bottle of wine too.
