$$$$•Italian•4.7(2,141)Welcome to La Dolce Vita Bistro - “The Sweet Life,” a restaurant and bistro created to recapture the bell-époque charm of “The Italian Drug,” opened here by Dr. Anthony Caruso in 1914. In the tradition of the great European bistros, La Dolce Vita is devoted to providing a relaxed and friendly atmosphere for everything from eight course dinners to coffee and Calvino. We strive to prepare the perfect meal, or the perfect cappuccino, and let you enjoy it at your leisure. Our pasta is cooked fresh to order, our sauces and dressing are painstakingly prepared using only the finest ingredients: extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, the freshest vegetables, imported whole tomatoes, fresh basil and Italian parsley... and your table is reserved for the evening.

- JJenniferGoldCleveland / Akron / Canton •15 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe’ve never been but have wanted to try Valerio’s for some time. From the moment we walked in and were greeted till we left, I felt the service was excellent. Out server was Salvatore and he was a delight to have and made very helpful suggestions with our dinner. I had the cod and my sone had the Saltimbocca. Both were very tasty. The tiramisu was so light and one of the best I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to return again very soon.More infoValerio's Ristorante$$$$• Italian• Little Italy•4.8

- JJosephGoldCincinnati / Dayton •123 reviews5.0Dined on Oct 24, 2026We have been coming to this restaurant for the past 25+ years, probably more than a dozen visits, and we have always walked away raving about the quality of the food and service. Tonight was no exception. Everything we had from Tommy’s Tomato Salad to the fresh fish selection to the veal Parmesan and beyond was prepared perfectly and tasted delicious. A special treat is always having a conversation with the owner and executive chef, Terry Tarantino, who makes the rounds of the tables serving up his own version of Cacio d’Pepe. It would be a disappointment to miss him and his hat. Lucky for us, he was there to oversee the goings on, as usual. The Little Italy neighborhood location, too, is a delight. Take some time and walk around while you are there. Tip: opt for Little Italy valet parking or expect to walk some distance from whatever parking spot you can find nearby.More infoLa Dolce Vita - Cleveland$$$$• Italian• Little Italy•4.7

Discover Little Italy
Little Italy is a small neighborhood of Cleveland located next to the University Hospital. The neighborhood got its name because Italian immigrants settled in the area and developed local businesses and restaurants reflecting their home cuisine. Today, just under 5 percent of local residents report Italian as their first ancestry. Local specialties include pastrami on rye, ciabatta with salami and panzanella. Little Italy is also home to the Tony Brush Park, which features a pavilion and picnic tables that are ideal for enjoying some take-out from one of the small Italian delis nearby featuring an array of cheeses, meats and veggies. There are also several casual, eat-in restaurants in the neighborhood, which feature upscale Italian and Irish cuisine. Some of the popular offerings include moscardini lessati alla Genovese and cotoletta with potatoes. Close off your meal with cinnamon scones alongside bold, dark-roasted coffee or espresso.
