I had a great meal at the Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar in Vernon Hills! The Fireside Blackened Shrimp Tacos were packed with flavor, and the black beans and rice made a perfect side. To top it all off, the S'more Brownie with vanilla ice cream was the perfect dessert—warm, rich, and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was relaxed, the service was friendly, and I'll definitely be coming back to try more of the menu.

Our first visit to Eddie Merlot's was absolutely outstanding! From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed. After we mentioned to our server, Joe, that it was our first time dining there, he surprised us with two complimentary glasses of champagne—a thoughtful gesture that made our evening feel extra special. Joe was incredible throughout the entire meal. He was attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, and truly made our experience unforgettable. We also appreciated that the manager, Calvin, stopped by our table to welcome us and make sure everything was perfect. That personal touch really showed how much the staff cares about their guests and made us feel genuinely valued. We ordered the Tomahawk Special, and it did not disappoint. The steak was cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and absolutely delicious. The lobster was incredible, and the wine paired perfectly with our meal. Every bite was amazing! We were so impressed with both the outstanding food and the exceptional service. A heartfelt thank you to Joe, Calvin, and the entire team for making our first visit such a memorable one. We can't wait to come back again and highly recommend Eddie Merlot's to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience!

Food was delicious we had filet mignon, prime rib eye, corn brule, loaded mashed potatoes and crème brûlée. Our waitress Lauren was exceptional. It was the best steak my husband and I have had. We can’t wait to go again. Restaurant is very beautiful and service is top notch.
