Definitely not a “nice quiet dinner” place. It was alive with laughter and excitement! We went after a show and it was delightful from the service being excellent to the food being immaculate.

This was the best dining experience I’ve had in a long while. We arrived with very little time until the start of our show. Once we communicated that to the server, our meal and drinks were fast tracked, with no drop off in quality at all. It was a remarkable meal, and this is coming from a Michelin tainted food snob. We got out within 45 minutes of arriving, satisfied, and made our show. This is usually not possible, at all. Impeccable experience all around.

    Discover Hell's Kitchen

There’s a lot in a name, and this westerly mid-Manhattan neighborhood has a no-frills food scene worthy of its infamous moniker. While the handle stems from the area’s notorious activity in the 19th century, it’s a different story today as it has become one of the city’s LGBT hot spots—with an abundance of watering holes to keep the party going. When it comes to the food scene, dining is low- key and comparably affordable to the rest of Manhattan. From burgers to tacos, cookies to pizza, there are humble gems to be found. An area once known for its grit continues to grow, with surprisingly tasty results.
