$$$$•Italian•4.8(685)The original Steve's opened in 1991 on Old Country Road in the heart of Westbury. This is the newest and third location! It is owned and operated by the Vaccaro family who has been in the restaurant business for 40 years.
Steve's Piccola Bussola is Italian dining with big flavors, quality food, and dedicated service. Steve's revels in traditional, hearty southern Italian fare, but also touches on other regions as well. The sauces taste just as good now as they did when they opened twenty five years ago. They only use the freshest ingredients.
Steve and his son Joe are driven to give their customers the best experience possible from start to finish, antipasto all the way to dessert.

We had a very large group, including a separate table for the younger guests, and everyone was wonderfully taken care of. The service was spectacular! Thomas deserves special recognition because he was truly AMAZING! Taking care of a group our size is no small task, yet he made everyone feel welcome and attended to. His attentiveness and exceptional service were a highlight of our experience. If we could give Thomas five stars of his own, we absolutely would! Management, you have a gem on your team. I ordered the roasted duck and I haven't had duck this good in at least 10 years (and I LOVE DUCK). The raspberry drizzle was subtle, the root vegetables served with it were a gourmet delight. The other three diners couldn't stop talking about their dishes - one pasta dish and two seafood medley dishes. Gabby was our server and she was a delight. Professional, courteous, prompt and a wonderful sense of humor are just some of her qualities. We almost asked her to join us for dinner. Make a reservation - go to Nosh! We enjoyed the free bread loaf, a beet salad and the scallops dinner. Its was all delicious. Our waiter Anthony was absolutely on point and did an incredible job taking care of us. The manager Oscar was constantly checking in to make sure we had the best experience possible. Both of them really made our night special. The place has plenty of seating with booths throughout plus a nice sized bar area with plenty of seating. The decor has that RL vibe and feels super welcoming.
