📍OKANE SF, San Francisco Introducing this Michelin Bib Gourmand Omakase in SF, @okane_sf is the hottest new sushi spot 🔥 They offer delicious & fresh cuts of sushi, and we definitely left super satisfied 🤤 We got: 🍣 sashimi omakase 🍣 nigiri omakase 🍣 okane roll 🥩 wagyu nigiri 🍶 sequoia hot sake Honestly, for the price, the omakase sets are super value for the taste + quality 🍣 Both the sashimi and nigiri omakase sets are $59 for 10 pieces! I would recommend the nigiri over the sashimi, but both were delicious 📍😋 We also got to try their Sequoia hot sake, which was super flavorful & warm for the cold night 🍶 We learned that this sake was curated right in California which was super neat 🥰 Thank you again @okane_sf for having us & for the kind hospitality! Can’t wait to come back 💛

You gotta bookmark this Michelin Bib Gourmand spot! 🔖 Okane is a more laid-back, authentic Izakaya compared to its sibling restaurant @omakase_sf (Michelin starred fine dining). You can choose to dine at a table or sit at the chef’s bar, where you can watch them prepare each dish. The fish here is FRESH and sourced from Toyosu Fish Market in Tokyo! There is a lot of selection on the menu ranging from sushi/sashimi, yakitori, and hot entrees. No need to break your bank, get the quality of fine dining but with the comfort of casual here. 🍣 • Shishito Peppers • Hamachi Kama • Omakase - Chef’s Choice Sashimi (10 pc) • Kakuni • Shinjuku Roll • Wakame Salad • Miso Soup • Soy Garlic Edamame • Born Gold Daiginjo 📍San Francisco, CA @okane_sf Thank you for having us! 🥔 Follow @hangrypotato for more food & travel recommendations! #okane #michelinguide #bibgourmand #michelinrestaurant #izakaya #sfnightlife #sfbars #sanfrancisconightlife #bestofthebay #mysecretsf #omakase #sushi #yakitori #forkyeahfoodies #foodiesinternationalchat #eatnorthamerica #bayareabites #internationalfoodiesunite #baeeatsworld #teamhappyfoodies #bayareafoodiesunited

📍Okane (Mission Bay) 🚙street parking 💲💲💲 ________________________________________ Okane is sister restaurant to the Michelin-starred restaurant Omakase and it’s more of a casual spot!😋🍣🍣 They serve a variety of rolls, nigiris, and appetizers! It is on the pricier side for sushi, but you’re paying for quality fish!😋 My favorites was pretty much everything I ordered but the must orders would be: →chef’s oysters ($21)- loved the hokkaido uni on top🦪 →uni ika ($19)- ika had a good crunch and can’t go wrong with added uni!🦑 →fresh hotate ($24)- it had yuzu tobiko and caviar and the scallops were firm!😮💨 →harajuku roll ($20)- it has salmon and tuna, but I loved the crunchy lotus root in this roll🍣🍣 →agedashi tofu ($15)- was in a dashi broth and it was perfect!😋 What number date would you take a girl to this restaurant?😂😏⬇️ . . . . . #okane #datespots #bayarea #bayareaeats #bayareafoodie #bayarearestaurants #bayareablogger #bayareafoodblogger #yelpbayarea #yayarea #sfrestaurants #sushi #sushiinsf #sushitime #sfsushirestaurant #wheretoeatsf #sushiaddict #okanesf #sffoodie #missionbaysf
