Really amazing experience. Phenomenal food and service. Every bite was savored, and the attention to details in service made me feel like royalty! Would absolutely have come here for the food alone, but the service makes the experience unforgettable. Two Michelin stars well deserved ... how does this place not have 3 !?

We eat at a lot of Michelin starred restaurants and we have eaten at all of the three and two Michelin starred restaurants in Chicago. I think that Oriole is the finest restaurant in Chicago. The food put out by Noah and his team is world class. It’s a luxurious experience with A5 Miyazaki beef, white truffle pasta, foie gras, oysters, etc. Some restaurants are intellectual experiences but I want food that’s delicious first and then beautiful second. Oriole plates beautifully but the deliciousness factor is incredibly high. The only negative is that the space isn’t beautiful. You enter through an alley and freight elevator which is unique but not a good match for the heavenly food. This place deserves its accolades and won’t disappoint you.

It was one of the best meals of my life! (and I don't say that lightly... I'm 47, and have eaten at some of the best restaurants in NYC & Chicago.) It's a 13 course tasting menu, and the food is "a surprise". Every morsel was not just delicious, but beautiful. My husband had the drink pairing, which wasn't just wine, but also included cocktails and cider. The service was exceptional. Their Michelin stars are well deserved!

This restaurant is a godsend, n I'm not even religious. But I believe in what this outstanding chef n staff are doing. I personally think it's the best restaurant in the city...possibly the world. It's definitely choreographed like a dramatic play, each course very deliberately leading n building to the next. Sometimes your submerged in a bath of aromas n flavors n inundated, n then brought up in the next one out of the sea to breathe in the welcome air. Well, I can't come up with good enough analogies to give this experience justice. All I can say..is GO..TRY IT..N PREPARE FOR THE CULINARY EXPERIENCE OF A LIFETIME.

Owner and Executive Chef Noah Sandoval is both a genius when it comes to creating artistic gastronomical delights and a most pleasant individual. My husband and I enjoy fine dining in Chicago every December to celebrate our anniversary so we are no stranger to the fine dining scene. Our experience at Oriole was so pleasurable, flavorful, and delightful that it is our new favorite. The food Noah prepared that evening was a feast to behold yet had to be savored with closed eyes and delighted sighs. From the interesting entry experience to the conclusion of the evening with a pleasant chat with Noah in the kitchen Oriole exceeded every expectation. The wait staff and restaurant ambiance were also noteworthy. We can hardly wait for next December.

We absolute enjoyed Oriole. Service was impeccable. The food was very good, and so were the pairings. We were able to nab a 7:30pm table for a Saturday night, 48 hrs before. It was simply meant to be! Highly recommend! Book it. You won’t regret it!

Simply amazing. This was our second visit and we were celebrating my birthday. My husband said he thinks it’s the best meal he’s ever experienced at a restaurant. Food was divine, service impeccable but friendly, perfect ambience with plenty of room between diners for privacy. Overall, wonderful birthday celebration....thank you! We love this restaurant and can’t wait to return!
Loved the ambiance and the service was superb! The food was delicious and beautiful. Also we’ve done a handful of wine pairings in the last few years and this was by far the best wine pairing we’ve experienced. Worked perfectly with every single plate and even enhanced some of the courses. Highly recommend this place!

Stunning heavily Japanese influenced tasting menu, the staff are incredible - they work as such a cohesive unit, like they’re all extensions of the same limbs! They were so attentive but not over the top, knowledgable and affable. Overall such a treat and I would happily go back / recommend to all.
Oriole never disappoints!
This was my first time doing a tasting menu. It completely exceeded all of my expectations. I liked the ambience in a old commercial structure turned into a modern space, staff was superb, friendly, approachable, and the food was an experience. Worth its money. More seafood and Asian flavors then I expected, several classics with new twists including Foie gras, Truffle over pasta, Sushi, most tender beef, etc I shared wine paring with my husband, however for me the amount of wine was a bit too much.

This was by far the most unique and delightful meal I've had in a long time. From presentation to taste, every dish was artfully created and wonderful. Service was impeccable from start to finish—We were greeted at the host station with a welcome cocktail, and each server was very knowledgable on the dishes and helped created a very pleasant atmosphere. Some highlights were the chef's unique twists on caviar, foie gras, and sea urchin. Absolutely worth the price tag and several month wait for a reservation.

Unique environment and style. The service and foods are decent. However, the insufficient amount even compared with other 2 or 3 star restaurants. Yet the price $260 for 5 appetizers, 3 main courses, and 3 desserts is reasonable.
We were blown away from the moment we walked in. Complete hospitality in every way! We were greeted by the hostess and given a housemate cocktail, and she was so fun and friendly. The perfect start to an amazing evening. Our sommelier and server were wonderful. Always smiling, offered great conversation, they were so much fun, full of knowledge and went above and beyond for us! We shared with them that we will be moving next summer and we are making our way through all the Michelin restaurants (this one was by FAR our favorite!!) and one of the chefs and another server, who are from the area we are moving to, write down a list of restaurants for us to check out despite being busy with other customers. It was an outstanding experience, we already made a reservation for our anniversary. Worth every single penny!!
