Steak doneness was swapped, when mentioned they offered to throw the undercooked steak back on the grill, but nothing for the over cooked steak, definitely won’t be back after $400 and they couldn’t even get it right

Dinner for 2, we got a tiny table on the patio that was uneven so it kept rocking. The server was nice, the hostess was not friendly at all, the guy who brought our food out basically slid the plates onto our table and left. The drinks (Moscow Mules) were basic, presentation wise, but tasted fine, nothing to write home about or post on IG. Ordered medium well filet mignon, very dry. Appetizer we ordered was the short rib ravioli, I had high expectations which were not met, it was extremely salty. All in all, I wouldn’t go back, Including tip for 2 people we paid $330+ (no dessert). For that much, I expect much more, like a table that doesn’t rock, a table with more room, top of the line service across the board, excellent food presentation & taste, this was not the case at all.

Not sure who the bar tender was this night. We asked for a hot n dirty martini which he never heard of but he asked what was in it and he made them and nailed it great service not just from the bartender but also the table staff

I ordered my steak medium well and it was delivered to the table extremely well done. The service and the ambiance was great. Food isn't worth the hype.

FAQs

Yes, Oscar’s is a classic choice for a date night. Guests consistently praise the romantic old‑Vegas vibe, the glass dome and Fremont Street views, attentive service, and high‑quality steaks and cocktails. Request a booth or a table along the rim for the best view, and consider an early dinner for a slightly quieter experience. Expect a special‑occasion feel and prices typical of an upscale steakhouse.

Portions at Oscar’s are generous, steaks are hearty and sides are often large enough to share. Guests frequently mention big, shareable sides like mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, and brussels sprouts. Appetizers and seafood platters also come in substantial servings, so plan to share sides or take leftovers.

For a more relaxed experience, go early at opening (around 5:00 PM) on a weekday evening, guests report earlier seatings are quieter and let you enjoy daylight-to-night views of Fremont Street. If you want the lively ambiance and canopy lights, reserve a later table and ask for rim/booth seating. Busy nights and holidays (New Year’s Eve, weekends) draw crowds, so book ahead.

Yes for family‑friendly seating; Oscar’s regularly welcomes families and celebrations (birthdays, anniversaries) and guests often bring teens. For accessibility details (ramps, wheelchair seating, or specific table options) the information isn’t specified in the listing, call the restaurant when booking so staff can confirm and reserve appropriate seating.

Oscar’s serves dinner and is open Wednesday through Sunday, 5:00 PM–10:00 PM. There’s also a happy hour (bar only) Wednesday–Sunday from 5:00 PM–7:00 PM. If you need exact holiday hours or special‑event times, call ahead.

Dress code is Resort Casual. Guests generally dress smartly for the classic steakhouse setting; a jacket or dressier attire fits the atmosphere. Some guests have noted inconsistency in enforcement (hats observed), so aim for neat, polished casual for special occasions.

Oscar’s recommends reservations and guests commonly advise booking in advance. During busy periods (weekends, holidays, NYE) there can be waits and occasional seating delays even with a reservation, so arrive early or call if running late. For last‑minute plans try the bar/happy hour (bar only) where walk‑in seating is easier.

Midweek evenings (Wednesday or Thursday) or an early weekday seating around 5:00 PM are often the best choices for a balance of full service and a quieter atmosphere. Weekends and holidays deliver a more energetic crowd and great Fremont Street views but can be louder and busier.

Yes, Oscar’s offers patio/outdoor balcony seating overlooking Fremont Street. Guests enjoy the people‑watching and views from the rim or patio, though some note the outdoor area can be cooler and, on busy nights, quite lively. Ask about heaters or request indoor rim seating if you prefer a warmer setting.

Yes, guests report dining at Oscar’s on holidays (including New Year’s Eve), but holiday hours can vary. The posted dinner hours apply Wed–Sun; call ahead or check with the restaurant for specific holiday hours and special event seatings.

Oscar’s offers an old‑Vegas, classic steakhouse atmosphere, elegant but lively. Guests highlight the iconic glass dome, Fremont Street views, polished service, and a nostalgic Supper Club vibe. It can get quite loud on busy nights, making it great for celebratory evenings but sometimes less suited to quiet, intimate conversations.

Yes, guests frequently report the team accommodates celebration touches (signed cards, complimentary desserts), seating requests (booth/rim tables), and allergy notes. Call ahead with special requests so staff can note them on your reservation and help make celebrations or accessibility needs smoother.

Busiest: weekend evenings, holidays (New Year’s Eve), and major events, expect a lively, crowded dining room. Quietest: the first seating around opening (about 5 PM) and midweek nights tend to be calmer. Plan accordingly if you prefer a quieter meal or want the bustling Fremont Street energy.
