We are a 50-seat neighborhood restaurant that serves traditional Korean cuisine. Please understand although we strive to serve food and beverages with distinction we are still a small independent family run restaurant. No smoke and mirrors here. Just food from the heart. Our space is limited and our staff is small. We believe that we have the ability and resources to make all of our guests happy while dining in our "home" (as we see it). It can get loud in here when we are full but we believe this adds to the convivial atmosphere we provide. We are always happy here and this shows in the spirit of our restaurant. We look forward to serving you with all of our hearts and a smile!

Our sister restaurant, Wherewithall, is right down the street so feel free to walk over for a pre-dinner snack or a post-dinner drink!

It was ridiculously expensive. They charge every table $45 bucks to help cover higher wages for the staff. We left a $10 tip on a $250 check for two of us. We will never go back!

The creativity of the chef and kitchen staff is unmatched. The entire team was flawless. Welcoming. The food speaks for itself. The only mistake that you can make as a guest is to not leave room for dessert. Enjoy.

Overpriced, server pressure us into ordering too much food and didn’t tell us that tip was included. Felt sick afterward. Wouldn’t go back.

We are so thrilled that Parachute is back— and better than ever. Whenever I tell people about Parachute I tell them,”not only is the food absolutely delicious, but there is nowhere else in the city like it. You are eating food that is distinctly Parachute; it’s exciting.” That was our experience last night. Parachute was my gateway into Korean food (beyond Korean BBQ and Bibimpap), but last night felt like Korean 2.0 for me. I can’t think of a better compliment a restaurant could receive than having diners tell them that they left with a deeper appreciation of the cuisine—and that’s how we feel about our meal. The service was also great. We are so excited to go back. I am so glad that I set an alert in my phone to check Instagram daily at the end of May for the announcement that reservations had opened up.

We loved parachute. The ambiance was amazing and the service was even better! Great food and great drinks as well. We tried the ribs, seafood pancake, tempura veggies, and the mackerel. The pancake was amazing and light and came with a sauce that I wanted to dip everything in. The tempura veggies were fun seasonal flavors with a great soy sauce. The ribs were to die for - super tender and another amazing broth. The only thing I would recommend skipping is the mackerel as it lacks the amazing flavor and substance that all the other dishes have. Otherwise - this is a can’t miss spot!

Checked out parachute the week of their reopening. They have a paired down menu that is more authentically Korean. Really enjoyed 3 of the 4 dishes ordered, especially the kalbi ribs and seafood pancake. The service at the bar was fantastic. The price is high, but they have increased their portion sizes and all dishes can be easily shared between 2. Overall highly recommend!

We ate at the counter, they made some renovations since I’ve been there last. The vibe & decor of the place was inviting. The warm sound of vinyl playing was at the prefect level, we were able to carry on a conversation but also really enjoy the selection of music playing. The food was absolutely delicious, as good as I remember it being. The snail salad was refreshing, the mackerel was fresh (not fishy at all) the side dishes that came with it added different levels of dimension to a very simple but perfectly cooked piece of fish. The pork belly was tender & melted in your mouth. The goat stew was our favorite. Deceptively simple but with lots of pockets of flavor. It ate very light and the broth was very satisfying. The patbingsu was absolute best way to end the meal with roasted strawberries shaved sweet pea iced and condensed milk cream. This is probably one of my favorite restaurants hands down. Highly recommend.

Everything about this experience was superb! We had the 10 course tasting and two of us had the wine pairings ( a sommelier from Mexico was in attendance.) The food was all very fresh and uniquely presented Korean fusion. The wine was also unique and unlike the usual red and white (there was an orange colored rose that tasted of peaches and was delicious!

Some of the food items were really good. Smoked Yuba was unique and delicious. Yellowfin tuna with nam price pro was delicious. The bing bread was too hyped up but interesting. Take half to see if you like it. Kkanpungi (chicken) was okay but the cuttlefish with crispy rice was below expectation-a mumbo jumbo. Overall, a good first experience with the food. However, the total turn off was the cramped seating arrangement on bar stools which did not have any back support. The seats were packed too tight. Please do not do this to your customers. Also, the noise level was too high to hear any conversation.

The food is inventive and absolutely delicious, and the service is stellar. Our server had a note from our first visit a couple years ago that I had an allergy, so they prepared an annotated menu for me ahead of time indicating which dishes would be safe. Wow! Totally impressed. They were friendly, attentive and had great recommendations as well as a deep knowledge of their wines. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We were 30 minutes early, at 6:00 rather than the 6:30, and sat right away. The hostess was very accommodating and personable. She offered the available counter and took us and showed it to us as available right away, rather than a table for two or community table at short wait time. The Bing Bread was yummy! So much so, I wish I'd orderered a full, rather than a half loaf for two. It was like nothing I'd ever had, and I'm a breads lover. The appetizer roll was yummy. The clams were delicious and interesting. The mackerel, I enjoyed the sweet onion wababi accompaniment. The brisket was interesting and potentially delicious, fall apart tender, not too spicy, but was soooooo salty, I really would have preferred to send it back, we both thought salty to the point of inedible. The coffee was delicious, Metric Honduras, French Press. The desserts were amazing! We both could have eaten multiples! My birthday, the candle was a lovely and a most appreciated touch in the Tiramisu. The matcha was a delicious and interesting take on Tiramisu, yummy enough to eat a few! One of my favorite gelatoes is black seasame. So the Koreapolitan ice cream trio was amazing! The yuzu citrus third was new to me and a striking counternote to the rich, deep black seasame, and the mellow adzuki bean in between. I wish the menu would have had a few more choices, things to go back and try. Enjoyed the ambiance. We ate at the counter. One of the owners waited on us while his wife, counterpart, skillfully tended the bar. He was attentive and interesting, a bit too rushing and pushy. I teach middle school, 34 years, with rushing bells all day. And a birthday, I would have enjoyed courses, not ordering all at once. ...Even ten minutes more. Then, our clams would have come out before the entree. Looked forward to the reservation and drove 105 minutes one way. We were out of the restaurant in an hour. The kitchen was fast, serving a full, small restaurant, dishes hot.
