Here you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea or dinner alongside an unparalleled view of Nelson in Trafalgar Square and across Whitehall to the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben and the London Eye.
It is a smart, stylish place to enjoy dishes based on superb seasonal ingredients we source from the country’s most esteemed suppliers, for instance, smoked salmon from West Country sustainability champions Severn & Wye, plus Portland crab, Devon Rose veal, and venison from the Royal Estates. We support local producers when it comes to drinks too, serving Chapel Down English wines from Kent, and beers from London’s Meantime brewery.

The view here is amazing. Such an added extra. The restaurant was lively and our waiter made us feel very cherished. I had the celeriac soup which was delicious followed by beetroot risotto, equally nice. The others had a standard Sunday roast lunch and said it was great. The desserts looked fabulous and tasted as good. Can’t fault it really. We will be back.

A lovely welcome and appreciated being seated upstairs as requested. Downstairs is extremely busy, crowded and noisy for diners. Upstairs is relaxed, an attractive venue with friendly and efficient service! Looking forward to our next visit😊.

The entrance is around the back of the gallery when the gallery is closed or about to close. Staff are very helpful! Nice view across the rooftops and on to Nelson’s column. Theatre menu is very good and the staff are excellent.

A very special restaurant with a fabulous view over Trafalgar Square and way beyond. A great menu with vegetation choices. A good wine list, but the bottles start just under £30.00. I made a mistake (and so did others) of leaving my coat and umbrella in the downstairs cloakroom, which closes before the upstairs (floor three), restaurant! I was told my coat and umbrella would be bought up to the restaurant cloakroom later but sadly this did not happen and it was a bit of a farce trying to retrieve my items at the end of the night! It is a little tricky to find floor three where the restaurant is situated. Basically enter through the main entrance, go up the stairs to the first level, walk all the way to the back of the room and you will see lifts at the end that will take you up to the restaurant. Definitely worth the trip but book first as this place gets busy.
