This was one of the best tea houses I have ever been to. The food was delightful, the selection of teas was extensive, the service was impeccable, and it made a great place for several of my friends to gather post-pandemic and vaccination to catch up. What a gem this place is!
A nice place for lunch and girl time! The lady who was serving was so patient with my 90 yr old mother. Food was delicious
My family came to visit for the weekend and I took them to Queens Cuisine for lunch. Delicious food and the staff was so friendly. One of our people had a dietary restriction and the owner personally came out to make recommendations. Everyone in our group enjoyed the lunch. It was a lovely experience
Queen’s Cuisine NEVER fails!! You can always count on everything being excellent. LOVE to eat there and so glad that since we’ve had two shots, we’re good-to-go!
I always enjoy the Coconut tea and the Little Bit of Everything Entree.
Nice quiet experience of the Queen’s cuisine. Amazing, attentive staff. Quality service with quality food and drinks.
Went for afternoon valentines tea and all the food was amazing. The teas were very good also. The server waiting on us was very friendly and so nice to talk to. She made the experience a very pleasant one.
The service and food werr excellent with all the British charm included. I shall return.
I made reservations for my friend birthday after researching tea rooms The scenery was nice the front of the building could’ve been a little nicer there was a few weeds growing around the walk way onto the porch . Upon entry I did notice some scones sitting in a chair inside some Tupperware not sure why .The food was good after sending it back because the middle of our sausage roll was ice cold I think they made everything the day before and just heated it up the waiter made sure to make another sausage roll and boy was it hot . The quiche Lorraine was good and the scones were superb I liked the mixed berry tea soda a lot I would visit again I give this establishment a 3 out of 5 stars
The scones you mentioned are what we use for display only. As the indoor dining has been closed for some weeks (due to state mandate/COVID) we had put them to one side. I'm sorry your sausage roll was not heated thoroughly. I'm pleased to hear that you enjoyed your quiche and scones etc. Thank you for bringing your friend to our tea room and for this feedback.
This was the first time we sat outside and it was marvelous! I did not expect it to be a private table! Highly recommend
Please support this local business. The food was wonderful and it is delightful to eat outside.
Please support this wonderful local eatery. It was just like eating inside. Delightful.
We enjoyed a wonderful lunch on the back porch if this charming tea room! The owner is awesome, the food delicious, the tea choices are numerous and dessert was amazing!! Took home some scones to enjoy on the weekend!
We had an excellent lunch at the Queen's Cuisine in Edwardsville, IL! They have excellent food, prompt service, and wonderful dessert. Thanks for making my day.
With COVID restrictions, we were very pleased with what we came for. Great food and desserts. We were seated on the front porch which is right on Main Street. Lots of noon traffic which Is why I ranked the noise level high.
The crust on my quiche was perfect! Often I leave that on my plate. The choices of tea are outstanding. Even if I have to do carry out since outside seating is limited, I will be back!
We enjoyed the traditional English tea which included 3 small plates of goodies tiered. The finger sandwiches were on one plate, delicious but we felt a few more than 4 tiny sandwiches each would have been better lunch. Included in the tea for two were four large delicious scones, four small sweet cakes and whipped cream. Tea was delicious. We shared a small salad as well. If you like sweets you will enjoy this. Our bill for two was $82.00 not including tip. Service was excellent.
We love Queen's Cuisine, and are happy to know that now we can eat inside. Jane accommodated us as good as possible with one little outside table unfortunately overlooking busy Main Street. But we are so happy to support Queen's Cuisine and Jane!!!
A delightful place for afternoon tea. Such pleasant surroundings but not “stuffy”. The table was set so nicely with all of the utensils for tea service. I definitely want to go back! Oh, the food was very, vert good!
The Coronation Chicken Salad, with a touch of curry, and lentil soup were outstanding as was the lemon pound cake with lemon curd; also, a wonderful variety of teas, served hot or cold. Very inviting atmosphere. The owner made you feel right at home and never rushed. Going back soon.
Wonderful food, great tea and desserts too. Love coming here
The service was very poor. No refills were offered nor were we checked upon during our visit. The food is consistently very good but I don't know if I'll be a return customer if service remains at this level. Also, when I called and to make the reservation the person with whom I spoke had an attitude.
Always excellent. Best tea room for high tea r just lunch.
We loved the Queens Cuisine. We went for the Valentine Tea and had such a nice time. We look forward to returning soon!
Absolutely delightful. From the gentle classical music to the vast selection of wonderful teas, to the abundance of delicious edibles (customized for our particular dietary requirements), it was first rate. Best gf scones ever, too. And clotted cream!!! Thank you so much!
When I opened my bags of scones (I purchased 6) I was only given 5. My blueberry lemon scone was not included and I was very disappointed.
So sorry we miscounted your scone order. We have issued a credit for the missing item onto your credit card.
The food was amazing and the visit was pleasant. It is an authentic tea room and will be back!
Excellent food and ambiance at the Queen's Cuisine Tea Room!
After visiting London in August and going to a legitimate tea time reservation, I knew I had to take my Grandma to tea for the holidays. I looked high and low for tea rooms in our area and found Queens Cuisine. I am so happy with how everything turned out. The tea was excellent. The food was great. We enjoyed the Christmas crackers thoroughly. Best of all, my Grandma loved the place and had an excellent time. Thank you so much!
Queen’s Cuisine is a delightful place to go. The facility is clean, the workers are super friendly, and the food is excellent. Their cauliflower soup is unbelievably delicious and the Christmas tea was so much fun! I hesitate to recommend it because it will be harder to get seated, because it is small. It is seriously good and I recommend it wholeheartedly.
Hot tea many to choose from!! Chicken salad sandwiches are amazing!
Jane and her staff always make you feel so welcome. The tea room is lovely and the food is always delicious.
Absolutely loved the shepherd's pie. I always take a scone and some clotted cream home to enjoy later!
The food and atmosphere were wonderful. We will definitely return even though we live over an hour away! Tea was delightful and there is a large selection.
Loved the Harry Potter-themed food, drinks, and decor. It was also nice to see other fans enjoying the theme and even interacting together. The reservation card on the table was a nice, personal touch. The gillywater could use more strawberry flavor, but the butterbeer and pumpkin juice were very delicious!
The scones were delicious, the tea perfect - they deliver it in a pot with a small hourglass to time the steeping accurately, and a small plate to rest the used tea leaves on. I also tried the sausage roll, which was very nicely seasoned. The variety of tea is probably their strong point, and they seem to sell most of them in gift tins - a nice touch!
This cafe is a hidden gem.in Edwardsville. Everytime I go the food is always excellent!
I highly recommend the Little Bit of Everything menu option that includes a salad and home made soup, quiche, and a croissant sandwich. The croissants are amazing at this cafe@
We went for afternoon tea service for a birthday celebration. The food was very delicious, as was the tea. The service/waitress was not so great, not helpful, never smiled, was not attentive, and because of this, this very expensive afternoon tea did not feel special at all. The inside of the place itself was very nice, attractive and clean. The outside of the building looked to be in disrepair and almost looked abandoned because of all the high weeds and grass and state of the building. I hate to be critical but for the cost of the afternoon tea, you would like to feel like a "queen" and so much of this visit left us feeling not so much. As mentioned, the food was outstanding and the tea delish, but overall the poor service was the most memorable part of the afternoon. We would like to come back and sample the other food on offer, but we will not return for Afternoon Tea.
Lunch at Queen's Cuisine is always a delight. It is tastefully different in a dining world of boring sameness.
I lovedthe little bit of everything option.
Excellent peach salad and tomato bisque soup too.
Pre-celebration for Downton Abbey’s movie release
