    There was only 1 waitress for the whole restaurant and bar. She was so rushed and stressed, it stressed everyone in the restaurant and made it a horrible experience. She was trying to serve everyone and make all the drinks. Felt so bad for her. I asked for salt for my entre and she brought it at the end of the meal when we were ready for the check.

    We were a table of six and therefore the tip was already included in the bill. The server knew this and clearly did not attempt to provide good service. We waited to order drinks to have with our entrees for well over twenty minutes, we were done with our meals before she checked in with us. She was surly and curt. We will not go to 1629 again. The manager was very nice and was concerned when I briefly complained while we were leaving, which was appreciated.

    We had a party of 5 for breakfast after the Pell Bridge Run on Sunday and really enjoyed the buffet. There was something for everyone in the group. The food and the service were outstanding, we will certainly be visiting again!
